𓂃 volcanic matcha set
 
one of the pieces born from my ongoing exploration of earthy textures.
 
crafted from dark, volcanic-inspired stoneware clay and finished with a glossy glaze reminiscent of a misty forest ࿓ soft and hushed... trees dissolve into fog, moss darkens with moisture, and the air smells of earth and rain.

the outside is partially glazed with brush strokes with patches of pure clay coming through. the clay has small stones, so i carve it slightly by hand to bring out an rawer texture that feels grounding to the touch and evokes connection to the earthly realm.

⌇the bowl’s generous size is ideal for whisking matcha / hōjicha and the spout ensures easy pouring without spills
