sandstone collection
nature gives a great example of how things can be simply beautiful and by that create an inner peace. reflections upon this subject have driven me to the creation of the Sandstone Collection – a combination of simple color, raw tactile surface and clear forms.
volcanic stone collection
this series was inspired by volcanic sand. the surface is textured by hand, reminiscent of cooled lava, inviting the touch and evoking a primal connection to the earth.
raw rhythms collection
i was wondering if through ceramics i could communicate the beautiful patterns existing on Earth – on the tree trunk, the shells or along the rocky shore. i took a carving tool and let my hand flow.
grey stone collection
i once found a little piece of grey stone on the windy Baltic Sea shore. i took it home with me and started experimenting, trying to recreate its energy in clay. i found the exact clay i was looking for and thus the Grey Stone Collection appeared.
