𓂃 volcanic matcha set
 
one of the pieces born from my ongoing exploration of earthy textures.
 
crafted from dark, volcanic-inspired stoneware clay and finished with a glossy glaze reminiscent of a misty forest ࿓ soft and hushed... trees dissolve into fog, moss darkens with moisture, and the air smells of earth and rain.

the outside is left unglazed. the clay has small stones, so i carve it slightly by hand to bring out an rawer texture that feels grounding to the touch and evokes connection to the earthly realm.
 
⌇the set includes a whisking bowl and a drinking cup
⌇the bowl’s generous size is ideal for whisking matcha / hōjicha and the spout ensures easy pouring without spills
