i shaped this small cacao cup from sandy stoneware clay and brushed it with a wood ash glaze that creates unique strokes across the surface. the texture is grounding, tactile, and alive in the hands, evoking sun-baked clay after rain, iron-rich soil, and weathered landscapes.
at around 100 ml, the cup is designed for a more ceremonial style of cacao – holding smaller, concentrated servings.
