i shaped this vessel from dark stoneware clay and brushed the glaze onto the surface.
for this series, i'm inspired by tree bark, fertile soil, weathered wood, and forest floors. by applying the glaze unevenly, subtle variations emerge, creating a surface that feels layered and alive.
