i shaped this gaiwan from stoneware clay and finished with a soft matte glaze that flows gently over the rim.

for this series, i'm inspired by windswept dunes, pale sand, and subtle lines where earth meets sky or water. the surface is partially unglazed allowing to see the beauty of clay and feel its texture through touch.
