i shaped this cup from dark stoneware clay.  

for this series, i’m inspired by charcoal and ash – the contrast between blackened earth and the pale traces left behind by fire. on the outside, i brushed the glaze unevenly, allowing it to settle across the stony texture like ash over charcoal. the surface feels raw, tactile and alive in the hands.  

holds about 240ml.

due to handmade nature, cups may slightly shift in form, variations in glaze shade, and spirals.
