i shaped the bowl from dark stoneware clay, letting my fingers freely and abruptly run through the wet clay which results in uneven shapes and moving curves. it feels alive...
inside, the bowl is glazed with mossy glossy glaze and strokes of wood ash. outside – it got some touches of wood too, but is mainly left unglazed revealing the natural beauty of clay. it has a deep, textured surface reminiscent of charcoal, volcanic ground and cooled lava sand which feels grounding and raw.
