A Nature Immersion

TEA

We will begin each day with a silent tea ceremony in a tea tent, arriving to the land, ourselves, and a space of intuitive inspiration.
 

You will listen to water slowly warming over charcoal and let its fragrant aroma awaken your senses. A warm bowl of living tea, grown in harmony with nature and crafted through ancient traditions, will find its way into your hands. With each sip, the morning mist, afternoon sun, refreshing rain, and mountain wind enter the body.
 

Tea invites us to listen more closely to the body and heart, to notice the extraordinary within the ordinary, and to return to the simple wisdom of being alive. It offers a moment of rest and creates space for what wants to come.

CLAY | DAY 1

Earthly Ritual: Listening Through Touch

Through meditation and sensory exploration, we will connect with clay beyond technique – as a living material that responds to touch and presence.
 

Much of the work will happen with closed eyes, shifting our awareness to deeper sensing and listening. Through intuitive sculpting, poetry, and inner reflection, we will explore our relationship with the earth and what it means to feel rooted.

These creations we will gift (return) to the earth.

SEA

The land that will hold space for our days together lies along the Baltic Sea. It is a wild, untouched beach, where pine trees withstand the storms and meadows meet the cliffs.

Locals call Latvia's west coast the "Coast of Happiness" for a reason – it feels as though you have arrived at the edge of the world, leaving all your worries behind. It remains quiet and sparsely inhabited, offering a true sense of freedom and the space to simply be yourself. Stones, driftwood, wind-swept plants, and the patterns left in the sand become an endless source of inspiration.​​​​​

CLAY | DAY 2

Forming a Vessel: A Dialogue with Clay

Building on the connection cultivated on the first day, we will dive into the ancient art of hand-building with clay, transforming a lump of earth into a vessel.
 

Rather than imposing a shape from a thinking mind, we will allow our creativity and curiosity to guide the process. Through slow movements, the hands suggest, the clay responds, and somewhere in between a vessel will take form.
 

There will be space for playfulness, expression, and decoration as each participant creates their own unique piece.
